Great day in the mountains! Went on a big hike, ate on the top of the mountain and did a little shopping. Dad made it just fine. Zakopane is truly a great place if you like nature, fresh air, wooden architecture, and if you're not afraid of heights (sorry Mom...not the place for you). The Gorale are amazing people with great hospitality. Here are some great photos of our day...                               What a beautiful day in Krakow! Today we simply toured the city...Wawel, Kazimierz, Stare Miasto, Galeria Krakowska, etc. Dad kept up very well. Weather has been cooperative...a little rain but mostly sunny. Can't complain. I can't tell you how good it is to be back in the "homeland" again, especially with my father (Thomas Kozal), Nicholas Palmer, Christina Fong, Michael Kornacki, and Kasia Warszynska. Our flights were great and the Dream Liner was awesome, although not as comfortable as I would have liked it to be. Nonetheless, we have settled into our apartment in Krakow and are only meters from Brama Florianska. What a great location! We are truly surrounded by beauty. Here are a few photos of our first night in Poland. Today we will head to the castle and to several architectural wonders (i.e. churches). Will be posting more soon!      While walking through one of the parks in Warsaw, we stumbled upon this lovely orchestra and dancers. What a beautiful display of culture! Kasia seems a little lost in Warsaw's old town. This is a huge park filled with outdoor games, rides, a huge shopping mall, and even a water park. What a great place to relax and enjoy! Air Hockey  Nick is hard at work playing air hockey. It is nearing the end of the day, and we have had a delightful time in Toruń. We certainly picked a beautiful place to stay. It will be hard to leave this beautiful place, but family in Poznań awaits and we love being with them as they bring such laughter and energy. We are going to hit the town now and share some of the sites with you. Absolutely amazing! This is a must see for anyone traveling to Poland.
